How to solve the electricity consumption problem in space for a year?

On April 16, the return capsule of China's "Shenzhou 13" spacecraft successfully landed at the Dongfeng Landing Site. The astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu who carried out the mission successfully exited the capsule and were in good health. The second manned mission of the space station complete success.

The astronauts successfully exited the capsule

From October 2021 to April 2022, Shenzhou 13 will stay in orbit for 6 months, which is the longest manned flight in my country so far. In order to avoid the "power shortage" situation during the spacecraft's stay in orbit, the Shenzhou R&D team specially designed a power supply system for the spacecraft and the core module to ensure the normal operation of the astronauts in space and the electricity demand for life.

The power system of Shenzhou 13 is mainly composed of solar battery wings and energy storage batteries. In the illuminated area, the solar battery wing converts the solar energy into electricity for the entire cabin, while storing energy for the lithium-ion battery; in the shaded area, the battery is responsible for supplying power to the entire cabin, achieving 24-hour uninterrupted power supply, and providing power to the entire space station system. In other words, the power sources of the three cabins of the space station + Shenzhou spacecraft + cargo spacecraft can transmit and complement each other. However, in order to ensure the safety of the astronauts, the Shenzhou spacecraft, which uses a low-voltage power system, is only used as the power receiving terminal to receive power from the space station. This powerful power system is in the form of "photovoltaic + energy storage".

In fact, the "photovoltaic + energy storage" solution has played an important role in the space development process many years ago, and now it has become an indispensable part of space development, from "Beidou System" to "Shenzhou 13" , In recent decades, the pace of Chinese exploration of the universe has been faster and farther. With the development of aerospace technology, photovoltaic power generation technology has played an increasingly important role.

Behind every quest to the sky, there is a beam of green light, and behind every beam of green light, there is a skilled team. "Photovoltaic + energy storage" integrated solution, suitable for household, industrial and commercial, outdoor portable and other energy storage application scenarios, supports virtual power station (VPP) intelligent scheduling and Internet of Things device access, and provides customers with 24-hour uninterrupted clean energy , maximize the self-consumption rate of photovoltaics, and save electricity expenses. The microgrid energy storage solution supports a variety of harsh loads, perfectly solves the power consumption problems in offshore islands, remote mountainous areas, and areas without electricity or lack of electricity, and achieves complete energy independence.

In the future, we will continue to intensify scientific and technological innovation, work meticulously, develop more efficient and high-quality products, and help the development of new energy.
