National Energy Group plans to build a batch of offshore wind power projects!
Deploy new energy and make steady growth! On April 14, 2023, China Energy Group held a press conference for the first quarter of 2023. Chen Jing, a member of the spokesperson working group, said that since 2023, China Energy Group has ensured the large-scale development of renewable energy with multiple and rapid development. Development and construction achieved a good start.
In the first quarter of 2023, China Energy Group started construction of 1.6 million kilowatts of new energy and put into production 2.02 million kilowatts. Regarding the layout of new energy in the next step, China Energy Group will continue to focus on the leapfrog and large-scale development of new energy, insist on diversification, rapidity, scale, efficiency and scientific development of new energy, and promote rolling and continuous development.
In 2023, the National Energy Group plans to complete and put into operation a number of offshore wind power projects such as Shandong Bozhong, Jiangsu Sheyang, and Zhejiang Xiangshan, as well as a number of base photovoltaic projects such as Ningxia Zhongwei, Ningdong, and Xinjiang Ganquanbao. At the same time, the Qinghai Maerdai Hydropower Project with the largest installed capacity under construction in the upper reaches of the Yellow River will be closed for water storage in October, and the Jinsha River Xulong Hydropower Project, the largest hydropower station in the upper reaches of the Jinsha River, will be closed in November.
Explore the integrated development of wind, solar, hydrogen and ammonia storage according to local conditions, and build the first phase of the Ningdong Renewable Hydrogen Carbon Emission Reduction Demonstration Zone. In addition, the group will refine the carbon emission standards of various industries, and jointly promote new energy green electricity and green certificate transactions, so as to realize 100% green electricity consumption in the entire industry of the group.
In 2022, the National Energy Group started three batches of a total of 40 key projects, including 17 new energy projects. Currently, all projects are steadily advancing construction. The first is the three-in-one project of the Boao Zero Carbon Demonstration Zone of the China Energy Group Hainan Company, which includes agricultural and photovoltaic complementary power generation outside the island, distributed photovoltaics on buildings on the island, and green transportation transformation. It has provided service guarantee for the Boao Forum for Asia.
After the project is fully completed, it is expected to provide about 30 million kWh of clean electricity per year. The Boao Zero-Carbon Demonstration Zone is the first zero-carbon zone in the country for an international forum and a green development benchmark project with international influence, jointly created by Hainan Province and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It is one of the six landmark projects in Hainan Province. The second is the important supporting project of Ningdian Power in Hunan – Ningxia Tengger Desert New Energy Base Phase I 1 GW photovoltaic project is about to be completed and put into operation, which can provide 1.8 billion kWh of clean electricity every year. The third is the 500,000-kilowatt offshore wind power project in Bozhong, Shandong Province.
This project is the first project of the group company in Shandong to start construction, to connect to the grid at an affordable price, to adopt the longest impeller diameter and the largest single installed capacity. At present, the wind turbine hoisting operation of this project has completed more than 70%, and it is planned to be put into production at full capacity in the first half of 2023.
