Working principle
Installation location

An HFCT sensor clamped around the grounding conductor captures these pulses and converts them into voltage signals via a high-bandwidth ferrite core. After amplification and filtering, the processed signals are analyzed to determine the type and severity of PD activity.

Specification
PD sensor supports two power supply options:
- Wired Version:
-. PD sensor is powered by the HMI through a 24VDC power cable.
-. Data is transmitted to the HMI via RS485 communication.
- Wireless Version:
-. PD sensor is powered by internal battery.
-. Data is transmitted via LoRa network to a wireless receiver.
-. The wireless receiver is powered by the HMI through a 12VDC power cable and forwards the received data to the HMI via RS485 communication.
