PD3000 Partial Discharge Monitor Features
The basic feature of Blue Jay PD3000 online partial discharge monitoring is a long-life partial discharge sensor compatible with an external power supply and battery power, a panel-mounted HMI unit with automatic PD data acquisition and analysis, supporting up to 96pcs sensor, an RS 485 MODBUS-RTU for easily integrated SCADA systems, and easy installation. The key features of PD3000 are in the following:
The PD 3000 online partial discharge monitoring system can acquire synchronous multi-channel partial discharge data and other data such as temperature and humidity for comprehensive analysis. With waveform data recording, and advanced automatic PD data acquisition and analysis, it can pre-detect faults of MV and HV electrical assets more quickly.
The PD3000 partial discharge monitor can set multi-level threshold alarms and record the last 10 alarm events. According to the Multiple configurable alarms, it can help you pre-detect PD problems by the alarms of the high PD activity. It provides 2*DO NC & NO contact for external alarm trig.
The PD partial discharge monitor offers communication including Ethernet, Modbus, etc. Due to compatible communication, you can remotely view and analyze the partial discharge trends.
The PD3000 partial discharge monitoring system is compatible with a wide range of external sensors such as transient earth voltage (TEV) sensor, High-frequency current transformer (HFCT sensor), Ultra high frequency (UHF) sensor, ultrasonic sensor (AE sensor), TEV sensor, temperature sensor, remote sensor, etc. The default number of partial discharge sensors is 4 pieces and the maximum number of PD sensors is up to 128 pieces. As for different PD monitoring applications, you need to choose different external sensors. As for PD monitoring for transformer, the 40-150kHz ultrasonic sensor is the best choice. As for partial discharge in cables, you need to choose a 1-3MHz HFCT sensor to monitor the partial discharge trend in cables.
