PR 260 Electric Motor Protection Relay

The PR 260 electric motor protection relay is designed for the protection of electric motors having a voltage below 0.66 KV. This electric motor protection relay can provide up to 11 programmable switching active and passive node inputs and 6 programmable relay outputs. Alarm values and action values can also be set for all protection functions at the same time.

It has 21 protection functions, including start overtime, overload, overcurrent stall, phase failure, jam in starting, current imbalance, ground fault, short circuit, under load, current leakage, under power, external failure, over temperature, over-voltage, under voltage, abnormal frequency, abnormal power factor, restart, tE protection, and overflow failure.

Overview

The PR260 motor protection controller comprises the following components: main control module (mandatory), measurement module (mandatory, including connecting cables), switching module (optional), and display module (optional, including connecting cables). It can also accommodate an external high current transformer.

  • Programmable settings enable changes to all input and output functions, current and protection settings, and other parameter functions locally.
  • Comes with a standard RS-485 communication interface and offers an optional 2-way RS485 communication interface, supporting Modbus-RTU protocol and 2-way Profibus-DP communication mode.
  • Supports features such as anti-shock power and self-starting after power-on.
  • The measurement module includes its residual current transformer, eliminating the need for additional wiring.
