GYDCG Series DC Insulation Monitor

The GYDCG series DC insulation monitor has the function of insulation monitoring start and stop, insulation monitoring can be real-time monitoring of positive and negative poles to the ground insulation resistance. The monitoring result is not affected by DC voltage changing, not affected by the positive and negative poles insulation resistance symmetry.

Overview

The GYDCG series insulation monitoring device has three types: DCG-UBCH1, DCG-UBCH2, and DCG-UBCH2-LZ. The DCG-UBCH1 and DCG-UBCH2-LZ are suitable for EV DC charging systems, photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems, DC power grids, and other DC systems under 1000V. The DCG-UBCH2 DC insulation monitor is special for electric vehicle DC charging system.

Common Feature of DCG series DC Insulation Monitor

  • Fully functional

Integrated function: charging pile voltage measurement, insulation resistance monitoring, car side voltage measurement, current measurement, and many other measurement functions.

  • Wider power supply range

Compatible with 12V or 24V power supply, power supply range 10~30V.

  • Wider insulation monitoring range

Insulation resistance monitoring can be realized in the DC range of 100V~1000V, and the resistance monitoring range is
0KΩ~10MΩ.

  • Real-time monitoring of insulation resistance

When the insulation monitor is turned on, it will continuously monitor the insulation resistance of the positive and negative poles to ground and is not affected by the insulation resistance of the positive and negative poles. The influence of resistance symmetry is eliminated, and the monitoring data is updated in real time.

  • Higher reliability

In the case of low-frequency fluctuations in DC voltage, the insulation resistance monitoring results will not be affected.

  • The internal resistance to ground is larger

The internal resistance of the insulation monitoring module to ground is >600KΩ.

  • Faster monitoring speed, adaptive to ground capacitance

Under the condition that the capacitance of the positive and negative poles to ground does not exceed 3uF respectively, rapid insulation resistance monitoring is achieved
The monitoring period is between 0.7 seconds and 2.5 seconds. The larger the capacitance to ground, the longer the monitoring period.

  • Higher monitoring accuracy

When the capacitance to ground is small, the monitoring accuracy can be within 1%.

  • Parameter setting is more convenient.

All communication parameters can be set using dial switches (including communication address, baud rate, parity and even

  • Single channel and dual-channels type optional

The DCG-UBCH1 are single -channel insulation monitoring deive. The DCG-UBCH2 and DCG-UBCH2-LZ are dual-channels insulation monitoring device.

Working Principle of GYDCG Series DC insulation monitoring device
The GYDCG series DC insulation monitor adopts the bridge method circuit, as shown in the figure 1. Take DC1 road as an example, when the insulation monitoring function is turned off, both the positive and negative terminal relays K1 and K2 are disconnected. At this time, DC voltage and insulation resistance monitoring will not be provided. When the you start work, the K1 and K2 relays are closed, and the DC voltage collection and insulation monitoring resistance calculation are performed on this circuit, and the corresponding DC voltage and insulation resistance values can be read. The same applies to DC2. Dual independent control. When both insulation monitoring functions are turned off, the K5 relay is disconnected and the module is disconnected from the earth.
