China’s substations achieve comprehensive upgrade of independent controllable equipment
Science and Technology Daily reported that on November 19, reporters learned from the China Electric Power Research Institute that the “Research on Key Technologies for Independently Controllable Substation Automation Equipment Based on Domestic Chips” project led by the institute has recently made significant progress. By upgrading the key components, automation technology, and overall architecture of the secondary system of the substation, this project “strengthens the core and complements the chain” for key technical equipment in the field of power industrial control in my country, fundamentally ensuring the safety and reliability of major key areas.
For a long time, it has been difficult to fully master the key technologies of the new generation of secondary automation equipment in substations, build a complete technological ecological chain, and promote localized adaptation technology and equipment upgrading. These have been the difficulties in achieving localization of substation automation equipment. According to reports, the project is based on solving technological research and development breakthroughs in substation automation equipment, and has developed new substation automation core equipment such as multi-functional measurement and control, broadband measurement, switches, main and auxiliary integrated monitoring hosts, and comprehensive application hosts.
In the past, key components for substation secondary automation and related communication equipment relied on imports. At the beginning of 2020, a joint research and technical team formed by China Electric Power Research Institute, Nari Group, Xuji Group and other power equipment manufacturing companies targeted the weak links of domestic components and adopted full-loop sampling error automatic compensation technology to solve the problem of domestic components. There are problems such as noise suppression, low input distortion, high power consumption, and insufficient computing power;
By studying the anti-network storm technology based on virtual circuit traffic statistics, we have overcome the problem of lack of precise control of specific business traffic, and based on this, we have developed nationally produced high-performance embedded industrial-grade equipment such as multi-function measurement and control, broadband measurement, etc.
